Bev Sleph caught the "glass bug" from her husband, ZAYDE, 12 years ago when she began going to the Art Glass Studio with him, and she continues to create fused glass. She was the Treasurer of the Art Glass Center from 1996 until June 2013.
Having lived six years in Korea and five years in Japan, I am often influenced by memories of their mountains. They changed throughout the seasons—actually throughout each day as the sun rose and set—or as rain or snow hid the sun. My mountain scenes of multiple layers of glass represent the rain, wind and lightning.
